From glassy ambient cleans and touch sensitive edge of breakup tones to thick mid gain drive and singing lead tones, Modern Rock Collection covers the full dynamic arc of contemporary rock guitar on the Valeton GP5.
The amp selection is anchored around two workhorses. The Dumble style DT voicings deliver that warm, harmonically rich tone that sits perfectly in mid tempo rock, from clean with a shimmer to hot and singing lead tones. The UK series brings British character across the board, with Marshall inspired UK45 and UK50 voicings for vintage crunch and ambient swell, and UK800 tones for classic JCM800 style drive and lead. A Fat 800 preset pushes the JCM voicing into thick, compressed territory, and the Friedman BE inspired dirty lead rounds out the high gain end of the pack. All presets use the included Friedman BE mkII IR collection for a consistent, polished cab response across the board.
The IR folder features 10 mix position captures of a Friedman BE mkII cab, giving you a range of tonal flavors from tight and focused to open and full, so you can dial in exactly how much room you want in your tone.
