Valeton GP-200 Presets: Common Questions
Will these presets work on other Valeton units?
No. These presets are built and tested exclusively on the Valeton GP-200 and use its specific amp models, effects and routing. They are not compatible with other Valeton devices.

How do I import the presets?
Connect your GP-200 to your computer with USB and open the free Valeton GP-200 editor for Mac or Windows. Import the preset files from your download into free user slots, then save them to the unit.
What is the difference between Gig Ready packs and Amp Packs?
Gig Ready packs are complete live presets built around one amp, with the effects and switching you need on stage, so you can play a whole gig from a single pack. Amp Packs focus on the core amp tones, perfect if you like to add your own effects. Artist Packs recreate the tones of well known players and records.
What do the packs with NAM profiles and IRs include?
Packs in the "Includes NAM Profiles and IRs" category come with our own NAM amp captures and matching impulse responses, loaded into the presets for an even more authentic amp feel. Import the NAM profiles and IRs into your GP-200 with the editor before loading the presets. Use the filter above to find them.
Do I need to tweak the presets before playing?
No. Every preset is mix ready out of the box. Adjust gain, EQ and output level to suit your guitar and pickups.
Can I use them with a guitar amp or cab?
The presets are built for full range playback: FRFR speakers, studio monitors, headphones or direct to a PA. When running into a guitar amp or real cab, turn off the cab or IR block so you are not doubling up on speaker simulation.
Which firmware do I need?
We recommend updating your GP-200 and the editor to the latest versions before importing. Presets made on newer firmware may not load correctly on older versions.
