Neural DSP Presets: Common Questions
Do I need to own the Neural DSP plugin?
Yes. These are preset packs, not plugins. Each pack is built for one specific Neural DSP plugin, which you buy separately from Neural DSP. Check the product page to see which plugin a pack needs before you buy.

Does the Nolly X pack work with the original Archetype: Nolly?
No. The Nolly X Preset Pack is made for Archetype: Nolly X, which is a separate plugin from the original Archetype: Nolly. Make sure you own the X version before buying.
How do I import the presets?
Open the plugin in your DAW or in standalone mode, open the preset menu and choose Import, then select the preset files from your download. They will appear in your user presets, ready to load.
Do the presets work on Quad Cortex or Nano Cortex?
These packs are built for the Neural DSP desktop plugins on Mac and PC. Quad Cortex and Nano Cortex use their own preset system, so if you want these tones on Cortex hardware, email support@komposition101.com before buying and we will point you to the right option.
Which plugin version do I need?
We recommend updating your plugin to the latest version through Neural DSP's installer before importing. Presets made on a newer version may not load correctly on older ones.
Do I need to tweak the presets?
No. Every preset is mix ready, so it sits in a mix straight away. Set your audio interface input level properly and adjust the plugin's input gain to suit your guitar and pickups.
Do you have these tones for other platforms?
