FAQ
Valeton GP-5 Presets: Common Questions
Do these presets work on the GP-200 or other Valeton units?
No. These presets are built specifically for the Valeton GP-5 and its amp models and effects. Own a GP-200? We have a large range of dedicated Valeton GP-200 presets.
How do I import the presets?
Connect your GP-5 to your computer with USB and open Valeton's free editor. Import the preset files from your download into free user slots, then save them to the unit.
Are there bass presets for the GP-5?
Yes. The Ultimate Bass Collection is built for bass on the GP-5, with clean, driven and modern tones ready to play.
Can the GP-5 load NAM captures?
Yes. The Valeton GP-5 supports Neural Amp Modeler captures, which opens up our full NAM guitar and NAM bass catalogs. Keep your firmware up to date, since support for the newer NAM A2 format depends on the firmware version.
Do I need to tweak the presets before playing?
No. The presets are mix ready out of the box. Adjust gain, EQ and output level to suit your instrument and pickups.
Can I use them with headphones, a PA or an amp?
The presets are built for full range playback: headphones, studio monitors, FRFR speakers or direct to a PA. When running into a guitar amp or real cab, turn off the cab or IR block so you are not doubling up on speaker simulation.
How does Buy 3 Get 1 Free work?
Add any 4 products to your cart and the cheapest one is deducted automatically at checkout. It works across the whole store, so you can combine GP-5 presets with NAM captures. You can also sign up to our newsletter for 30% off your first order.
I lost my download link. What do I do?
We recommend downloading your files straight after purchase and keeping a backup. If your link has expired or the email never arrived, check your spam folder first, then email support@komposition101.com with your order number and we will sort it out.
