Discover the unmistakable sound of hot-rodded British amplification with Friedman Jose, a powerful collection of guitar tones inspired by the legendary Jose Arredondo modifications that helped define the sound of high-gain rock guitar.
Combining the raw aggression and dynamic response of classic British amplifiers with the additional gain, saturation, and sustain associated with boutique modifications, the Friedman Jose delivers everything from vintage-inspired crunch and muscular hard rock rhythms to searing lead tones and aggressive high-gain distortion. Its distinctive voicing balances rich harmonic complexity, cutting mids, and tight low-end response, making it an outstanding choice for expressive rock and metal guitar playing.
Featuring 74 Neural Amp Modeler A2 profiles, this collection explores both Plexi and Drive channel sounds across a wide range of gain settings and voicings. From lower-gain breakup to heavily saturated rhythm and lead tones, the pack offers extensive flexibility. You'll also receive 20 mix-ready impulse responses from a Friedman 4x12 cabinet, providing professional cabinet sounds to complement the profiles.
