Built for bassists who need aggression, definition, and massive low-end without sacrificing clarity, Paralight Bass: High-Gain V2 delivers a complete collection of modern high-gain bass tones inspired by the powerful multi-band processing of Neural DSP Parallax.
Version 2 expands the original collection with 25 brand-new profiles, giving you 52 Kemper profiles in total across the included V1 and V2 libraries.
These tones are designed around the sound of contemporary heavy bass: a solid and controlled low-end foundation combined with aggressive midrange distortion, attack, and definition. The result is a bass sound that stays huge underneath dense guitars while retaining enough articulation for fast riffs, technical playing, and heavily down-tuned arrangements.
From tight modern metal rhythm tones to saturated, grinding bass sounds, Paralight Bass: High-Gain gives you a versatile high-gain arsenal ready for recording, rehearsal, and live use.
✅ 52 Kemper Profiles Total
✅ 25 New V2 Profiles – A completely new set of high-gain bass tones
✅ 27 Original V1 Profiles – The complete original Paralight High-Gain collection
✅ Parallax-Inspired Tones – Built around the modern multi-band bass processing and distortion character of Neural DSP Parallax
✅ Mix-Ready High Gain – Powerful low end, aggressive distortion, and clear attack designed to work in dense modern mixes
✅ Multiple Gain & Tonal Variations – Explore different levels of saturation, aggression, definition, and weight
Modern metal bass has to do more than simply provide low end. It needs enough weight to support the entire mix while maintaining the midrange aggression and attack required to remain audible underneath layers of distorted guitars.
Paralight Bass: High-Gain is designed specifically around that balance — delivering deep lows, grinding mids, controlled saturation, and articulate attack in a collection made for contemporary heavy production.
Compatible with Kemper Profiler, Kemper Stage, Kemper Player and Kemper Rack/Head systems capable of loading Kemper Rig files.
Modern Metal, Metalcore, Progressive Metal, Djent, Deathcore, Technical Metal, Alternative Metal, Progressive Rock
Periphery, TesseracT, Architects, Spiritbox, Northlane, Monuments, Meshuggah, Animals as Leaders, The Contortionist, ERRA, Veil of Maya
